Song: "Never A Bad Time"
Quite beautiful. And powerful. I would imagine one of the objectives in
getting your piece off the ground would be discovering those haunting
timeless melodies that give the whole story a memorable thematic quality.
Harmonies and sounds that reek of early Americana. A new flavor, rhythm
and sonic approach for the new American opera. Modern traditional.

LIKE A ROLLING STONE - edited version
Professor Louie & The Crowmatix performed the classic song LIKE A ROLLING STONE at a Dylan Festival and the audience response was overwhelming. Since that performance, the song has become a crowd pleaser. The requests starting pouring in from DJ's and fans for a version of the song. Professor Louie & The Crowmatix headed into the Studio and created two versions - full length and edited with Miss Marie taking the lead vocal and Professor Louie adding an exciting Hammond Organ solo.
In 1965, the original radio 45 promo version was released by Columbia Records and they spilt the song in two with the A side fading out slowly at the third verse afraid that the full song was too long. When the song became a big hit the company changed their mind and issued a full-length version with The Gates Of Eden on side B. The original release of Like A Rolling Stone made history by being the first single (of any prominence) over three minutes played on the radio in full.
Professor Louie & The Crowmatix wanted to recreate the idea of a B side so they added an original tune to this disc - DOWN AT THE COUNTY - a rockin' rowdy song written by Kevin Doherty and arranged by Professor Louie & The Crowmatix.
