A musical journey, stories told through song and visuals
keeping the legacy alive of a true Americana town.
Award Winning Director Bruce Connors heard Professor Louie & The Crowmatix
CD, Music from Hurley Mountain and the songs inspired him to make this film.
The musically spirited songs heard throughout the Documentary
were created and recorded at LRS Studios The Rock 'n' Roll Barn on Hurley
Mountain Road and describe the history of this special place and the people they
met here. Beautiful footage and historical pictures filmed in Ulster County NY with
exclusive interviews by members of The Hurley Heritage Society as well as untold
stories by local residents.
Hurley was and remains an agricultural community from early settlements of the
American Indians, its importance during The Revolutionary War to the development
of the Reservoir system supplying water to NYC and to present day innovative
agriculture of The Farm Hub.
