Grammy Nominated Professor Louie & The Crowmatix filmed and recorded a live streaming show, calling it The Quarantine Session in their Rock 'n' Roll Barn, LRS Recording Studio near Woodstock, NY. Woodstock Records and The Crowmatix were excited about the great performances and audio and the decision was made to release a Digital Download Album. During this Quarantine time, Professor Louie & The Crowmatix wanted to perform the show as if they were playing in a theater, club or festival including narration and conversations between songs. Professor Louie & The Crowmatix have played over 150 shows a year for the past twenty years and this is another way to keep that tradition going. The set list includes Professor Louie & The Crowmatix original songs from their 15 CD's, including Funky Steampunk from their chart topping Blues CD Miles Of Blues and Atlantic City which Professor Louie produced for Rock' n 'Roll Hall of Fame group The Band. They also played interpretations of select cover songs making them their own. The Quarantine Session recorded live in the studio is exactly what a listener would experience at a Professor Louie & The Crowmatix Concert.

Professor Louie has emerged over his five decades in the music industry a torchbearer of the true spirit of American Roots music. Seasoned live performer, prolific recording artist and versatile multi-instrumentalist, early in his career, Professor Louie traveled, performed and recorded
with The Mighty Gospel Giants of Brooklyn and learned many of these historical songs from the Giants. With his dynamic group, The Crowmatix they performed a live concert at their LRS Recording studio and documented the performance by filming and recording these traditional, inspirational and original songs with filmmaker Bruce Conners.
These songs have inspired and influenced Professor Louie's life and career. Gospel songs like I'm On My Way, Up Above My Head, I Shall Not Be Moved, the classic hit, You'll Never Walk Alone and with his writing partner, Miss Marie, they created inspirational songs including their international award winning composition Melody Of Peace and their song Open Hand Open Heart that has become a theme song & message for many international organizations.
